Advent is the time for preparation and self-examination; where people prepare themselves for the second coming with special prayer, fasting and repentance.

Christmas is the observance of Jesus birth to Mother Mary in Bethlehem.

Lent focus was on self-examination and self-denials; observed for a 40-day period between Ash Wednesday and Easter.

The Sunday before Easter is celebrated as Palm Sunday. Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem, people spread out palm branches on the ground welcoming him as a king.

Crucifixion of Jesus on the cross – The Friday before Easter, when Jesus was crucified on the cross.
Good Friday marks the day on which Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross for the sins of the world.

After March 21st the first sunday following the full moon day is celebrated as Easter. The resurrection of Jesus Christ, who died for all our sins and resurrected on the third day.
